The grandson of Bluegrass Hall of Fame member Josh Graves, Jak grew up around honky tonks, bars, and Bluegrass festivals. Blending the music of his roots, along with blues and rock-n-roll, he has created his own style of Americana Music. Telling stories over melodies, Jak invites the audience to take a musical journey with him.
In 2023 Jak focused on growth and released his first full-length album, Circadia, that reached 100k streams. In 2024 he released an all rock album, Darkness, that also gained over 100k streams. When 2025 rolled around, Jak found himself the winner of the Elite Music Awards "Rising Star." In August, he was awarded Album of the Year Bronze at the ISSA awards for his album titled Darkness. Additionally, he is nominated for a Josie award (Americana/Folk Artist of the Year).
